A passion project

Every summer we get together to play holey board in honor of the late Al Whitson. In 2019, I offered to design a logo, website and t-shirts. I was given complete creative freedom to design it however I liked. Each year since, I've added new print, web and video elements to the event.

Creating community

In 2024, I designed these pool play banners to better organize the round-robin portion of the tournament. The design work helps organize and elevate the scholarship fundraising event.

Capturing the event

Each year I produce a full broadcast-style video for the final of the tournament complete with a scorebug, commentary, animated rules breakdown, post-game interviews and more. Click the image below to watch the full production.
