The player who scores the highest points in their previous turn will throw first.
- In the event each player scores the same number of points, the player who threw second in that round will go first for the next round.
- If no one scores any points in that round, the order remains the same.
- In the event you go over 21, the negative points you scored will still count in deciding who goes first in the next round.
- Example: If your score is 17 and you score 5 points. Your score is deducted by 5 points. If your opponent scores 3 points in the same turn, the player who had their points deducted by 5 will go first in the next round.
- Think of it as the “absolute value” of the points scored by each player will determine the order for the next round (yes, algebra. Google it if you need to)
